Stations Of The Cross

The Italian Prayer Group extends an invitation to all parishioners to Stations of the Cross, which will be held every Monday morning during Lent, commencing at 10.00am from Monday 14^th March. Please enter the Church via the Alison Street entrance. Enquiries: 9799 6730.

Della Santa Pasqua nella nostra parrocchia St Francis Xavier si terra la Via Croce in Italiano ogni lunedi mattina ore 10 si entra dalla porta laterale a sinistra della chiesa. Per chi puo rendersi disponibeli dal Santo Rosario. Tutti benvenuti. Per informazioni: telefonare 9799 6730.

9^th March :: Ash Wednesday

There will be two Masses – 7.00 am and 9.00 am at St Francis Xavier’s and
an evening Mass at St Mel’s at 7.00 pm.

17^th April :: Palm Sunday – Celebration of the Lord’s Entrance into Jerusalem

Masses as per normal Sunday timetable

The Blessing of Palms will take place at 5.50pm (prior to the 6.00pm Vigil) and at 9.50am (prior to the 10.00am Mass). Please assemble in the school grounds.

Mercoledi 20 Aprile (Wednesday 20^th April)

Le Confessioni Italiane ci saranno dale ore 7pm – 7.30pm.

21^st April :: Holy Thursday

Mass of the Holy Oils – 10.30am at St Mary’s Cathedral (all welcome)

Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Supper at 7.00pm, followed by prayer and adoration at the Altar of Repose until 10.00pm.

22^nd April :: Good Friday

Stations of the Cross at 10am, followed by Confessions.

Solemn Commemoration of the Lord’s Passion at 3pm

23^rd April :: Holy Saturday

Solemn Celebration of the Easter Vigil at 7.00pm

24^th April :: Easter Sunday

8am and 10am
