Over the last 2 weekends of Lent, we ask that you bring 1 or more of the following:

• Basmati Rice
• Tuna In Oil
• Cooking Oil
• Tinned Tomatoes
• Tinned Chickpeas
• Tinned Red Kidney Beans

Only items from the list are required. The brands do not matter but the items must be unopened and within any expiry date.

Items can be placed in hampers near the main entrance to the church.

Following consultant, Archbishop Anthony Fisher has appointed Fr Richard Gates as Administrator of the Parish of St Francis Xavier, Ashbury. This appointment takes effect from 2 July, 2018.

Following consultation, Archbishop Anthony Fisher has appointed Fr Toan Nguyen as Parish Priest of the Parish of St Brendan Central Bankstown. The appointment takes effect from 2 July 2018 and is for a term of six years.

All parishioners are warmly invited to attend a Farewell Party after the 6pm Vigil Mass on Saturday 30 June in the Parish Hall. Please bring a plate to share.

GIUSEPPE PONTILLO aged 92, from 40 Third Street Ashbury, passed away on 10 June ’18.

Mass of Christian Burial is at 10:00 AM Tuesday 19 June ’18 at our Church.

MARIA SCARPINATO (MARY) from 21 Allibone Street, aged 97yrs, passed away on Thursday, 24 May 2018.

Funeral will take place on Thurs 31st May at 10 am at our parish.
